It is not necessarily important that you only have a toothache when you have some dental diseases. Toothache can come because of your sensitivity to some foods as well. Like many people feel severe type of toothache when they instantly eat too cold or too hot things. These types of toothaches are usually temporary but, unless these are over, they give you a lot of discomfort besides unbearable pain. Many people think and believe that this type of chronic teeth pain disappear after a few brushing applications. Usually it doesn’t work, some try to find numbing gels for chronic teeth pain relief with high hopes that the toothache cures work. However, against the high hopes, it doesn’t work as you thought it would.

It said by someone that “care is better cure” and said very rightly. This also applies with chronic teeth pain relief. You need to make it your practice for consistent oral hygiene. From our early childhood, we start getting an advice from our parents to brush our teeth at least twice a day, if it is impossible after every meal. Unfortunately, we stick ourselves to this handy advice, unless we are in direct control of our parents and the day we start living at our own, we left behind all these advices. Keeping the practice of brushing twice a day is not so hard as it looks to many people. It hardly takes 4 to 5 minutes, and I believe for the sake of better dental health this time is not too much to spare.

Other brushing, flossing is another great way to care for your teeth. Make sure to get brush food particles away from your teeth as quickly as possible. Drinking room temperature water is another proven idea to prevent any trigger to toothaches. Water is a big gift from nature. It not only keeps your skin fresh, but also it moisturizes the gum and teeth which alleviate aches. Salt water is another good home remedy for mild toothache. You can use salt water to rinse your mouth with. Make sure that you use luke warm water for the purpose. It is a very effective method if you are experiencing a toothache after a meal.
